Check your receptionist, closed days and who's on call

The check-up

Open Jobs › Calls › Receptionist check-up. It lists anything that would give callers a wrong or dead-end answer (red), and things worth fixing (amber): no phone number, no hours, job types without price ranges, no open times, a holiday coming up that isn't a closed day, or booking paused.

• Try a call: type what a caller needs and how urgent it is. You see exactly what the receptionist would offer right now: the times, the price range it can give, a transfer, or a message for you. Nothing is booked.
• What the receptionist is told: the instructions it follows, built from your settings, including your hours and closed days. If something's wrong there, change it in Settings.

Hours and closed days

The receptionist is told your shop hours and gives exactly those when a caller asks. Under Settings › Closed days, add holidays and other days off (the coming holidays are suggested). Nobody can be booked on those days, on anyone's calendar, and the receptionist tells callers you're closed. A day a technician blocked on their own calendar stays blocked when you remove a closed day.

Who's on call for urgent calls

When urgent calls are set to Transfer, Settings › On call for emergencies sets who the receptionist connects them to on each day. A day with nobody goes to the owner's cell. Technicians need a phone number on their profile to be on call.

If nobody picks up, the receptionist tells the caller they'll be called back, and you get an emergency call back under Jobs › Call back, with a text to the owner's cell.

Calls that need a look

Calls › Needs a look lists urgent calls, transfers nobody answered, callers who wanted a person or asked something it couldn't answer, calls it couldn't book, and calls of 30 seconds or more that came to nothing. Open a call for its recording and transcript, then click Reviewed, with a note if something needs changing.
