Fewer empty bays, no forgotten calls.
About a day before each appointment booked ahead, the customer gets a reminder text. C confirms it; R asks to reschedule and puts them on your call-back list. Calls the receptionist can't book land on the same list.
No-shows leave a bay empty.
A 9am drop-off never shows.
Customers confirm by text the day before.
People who need to reschedule just don't come.
Reply R and they're on your call-back list.
Messages get lost on sticky notes.
Every call back is in one list, and you get a text.
A text a day ahead, answered in one letter
Sent once per job, about a day before the appointment, from your shop's name, to customers who agreed to texts.
- C to confirm: a note is added to the job.
- R to reschedule: a call back is created and you get a text.
- Skipped for jobs booked in the last 12 hours and appointments less than two hours away.
When the receptionist can't book, it takes a message
No open times, a caller who wants a person, a price it doesn't have, or a question it can't answer: it takes their details and adds a call back.
- A text to you as the call ends.
- The reason on every call back.
- Make a job or mark it done from the list.

Frequently asked
Can I turn reminders off?
Yes, in Settings.
Do customers who opted out get reminders?
No. Anyone who replied STOP, or didn't agree to texts when booking online, isn't texted.
When exactly is the reminder sent?
About a day before the appointment, checked every hour. Jobs booked in the last 12 hours and appointments less than two hours away don't get one, so one booked less than about 14 hours ahead has only its confirmation.
Does it send service-due reminders by mileage?
Not by mileage. For regular service, a maintenance plan adds each visit as a job two weeks before it's due.
Does the receptionist call people back?
No. It adds a call back for you or your team to return, and texts you the details.
