What if the car won't start or the brakes are going?
It marks the call urgent, suggests they don't drive the vehicle, and either books your earliest open time or transfers the call to whoever is on call, whichever you choose in Settings. If you can't see it soon, it takes a message so you can arrange a tow.
Will it diagnose the problem or quote a repair?
No. It never guesses what's wrong. It tells the caller a technician will inspect the vehicle and call before doing any work. The only prices it gives are the ranges you set for each job type.
Do I have to stop using my shop software?
No. Forward the calls you can't answer to BayRobin. It books the appointment and texts you the details. There's no live connection to Tekmetric, Shopmonkey or Mitchell yet.
Does it do digital inspections or order parts?
Inspections, yes: techs mark each item green, yellow or red with notes and photos, and the customer sees it with the estimate. There's no parts ordering or labor guide.
Does the caller know it's AI?
It introduces itself as your shop's virtual receptionist and says the call may be recorded. If asked, it says it's AI, and it never claims to be a person.
