Urgent calls

Under Your business, Urgent calls (won't start, brakes failing, unsafe to drive) sets what happens when a caller's vehicle won't start, the brakes are failing or grinding badly, it's overheating, or it isn't safe to drive: Book the earliest open slot, or Transfer the call to the owner (your cell phone, which has to be filled in, or whoever is on call that day).

Either way, the receptionist suggests they don't drive the vehicle. If you can't see it soon, it takes a message so you can arrange a tow.

No service area

Customers bring the vehicle to you, so there's no service area to set. The receptionist books anyone who calls, inside your open times.

Job types and prices

Under Job types, click Add job type or Edit. The Length is how long an appointment is booked for. The price range (Price from and Price to) is the only price the receptionist ever gives, and it always adds that the technician confirms the price.

It never diagnoses. Whatever the caller describes, it says a technician will inspect the vehicle and call with what they find before doing any work.

Saving these updates the receptionist on the phone line straight away.
