Tell customers their car is ready
One button texts the customer their vehicle is ready, with the total and a link to pay by card, and completes the job.
When the work's done, open the job and click Ready for pickup at the top. Check the box that opens and click Send the text.
What the customer gets
A text from your shop's name: “your 2016 Honda Civic is ready to pick up.” If the job has an invoice to pay, the text adds the total and a link to pay by card before they arrive, through your own Stripe account or PayPal.
- If the invoice is still a draft with a total, it's sent with the text.
- With no invoice yet, the text just says the vehicle is ready.
What happens to the job
An open job is marked completed. The button then reads Text again: ready, in case they didn't see the first one.
Once they've paid in full, they get one text asking for a Google review, if you've added your review link. See Estimate, invoice and get a review from a job.
The customer needs a mobile number on their record, and customers who replied STOP aren't texted. Paying at the counter instead? Record the payment on the invoice as usual.
