The dispatch board and your technicians' day
Drag jobs between technicians and times, and give each tech their day on their phone.
Jobs has two more tabs: Dispatch and My day.
Dispatch
Each technician has a row. Day shows the day as a timeline, Week shows seven days side by side. Drag a job to another row or time to move it: the technician's calendar and the receptionist's open times move with it. Jobs without a time are listed under Unscheduled. Drag one onto the board to schedule it.
If the technician already has a job then, the move is refused. Hold Shift while dropping to double-book on purpose. After a move, click Text the customer the new time to let them know.
My day
Technicians open My day on their phone to see their jobs for the day, each with the job type, the customer, what's wrong and a Call button. It's a web page, so there's no app to install. On a job, Start job and Complete job keep the counter up to date, and Take or add photos opens the camera. Photos and notes are kept on the job.
